The NAEMT Instructor Preparation Course, Second Edition provides instructor candidates with the basic training and information needed to become an instructor for any of NAEMT's continuing education courses.

Completion of the NAEMT Instructor Preparation Course does not qualify the participant as an NAEMT instructor. It is one step in the process of becoming an instructor.

Completion of the NAEMT Instructor Preparation Course, Second Edition along with successful completion of the provider course and a monitored teach-back for the NAEMT program that you wish to teach, is required to be recognized as an NAEMT instructor.

The eight interactive, narrated modules include an overview of NAEMT's continuing education programs and administrative policies, adult education and learning methodologies, the best practices for NAEMT continuing education courses, and classroom management. Two new modules, focusing on best practices in online education and introduction to simulation concepts, are also included in the second edition.  This comprehensive instructor development course ensures that instructor candidates understand the unique educational principles of NAEMT's continuing education courses.

Candidates who successfully complete the NAEMT Instructor Preparation Course, Second Edition are eligible for 6 hours of continuing education through CAPCE.
