New to the Online Instructor's ToolKit is Tactical Emergency Casualty Care for Law Enforcement Officers, Second Edition (TECC-LEO). This course trains law enforcement officers and other first responders to provide the most effective medical treatment of casualties before emergency medical services (EMS) arrive on the scene. Using thorough, scenario-based lessons, TECC-LEO teaches and reinforces the principles of rapidly assessing a casualty using an orderly approach, safely removing patients from high-threat situations, and minimizing any further casualties to first responders.

Also new to the Online Instructor's ToolKit is the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, Second Edition Refresher. This 8-hour course may be taught to individuals who have completed the NAEMT 16-hour TECC provider course within the past four years.
