This Recert course presents the basics for controlling the learning environment, including evaluating and responding to class demographics, setting up the classroom, responding to student needs, and ensuring safety in both indoor and outdoor classrooms. In addition, it examines how audience, department culture, and venue play a part in successful presentations.

After completing this course, the fire instructor will be able to:
