This Recert course reviews the responsibility of the Fire Service Instructor II for creating and maintaining the training budget. It discusses the preparation of the budget, the budget cycle and the difference between capital expenditures and other training related expenses. It concludes with information on the process of acquiring and evaluating training resources including the use of hand-me-down equipment.

After completing this course, the fire instructor will be able to:

Fire instructors who successfully complete the Training Program Management course are eligible for 1 hour of continuing education.
