The Fisdap Featured 50 is a set of validated scenarios designed to help students achieve the minimum competencies outlined by CoAEMSP in the Appendix G requirements and recommendations. This collection of scenarios covers the objectives aligned with the vital skills students must master in order to meet the Appendix G requirements. The scenarios are classified under the categories of Airway, Cardiology, Medical Emergencies, Trauma, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Pediatrics. Each scenario indicates both the primary objective and the specific subtopics that are meant to be addressed.

Similar to the challenge scenarios featured on the Fisdap website, these scenarios assess students’ ability to perform paramedic skills in a simulated environment. Each scenario was reviewed and validated by multiple subject matter experts and medical directors. Fisdap scenarios present a unique simulated patient, condition, scene, and set of circumstances that students must navigate to assess and execute appropriate treatment and care. The scenarios are designed to be used by instructors to create learning experiences for students throughout their education. They can be adapted and modified as needed to fit the current practical testing environment.
